    In which they never get to dessert, because Addy takes them both to get rabies shots. She isn’t sure if you can get rabies from eating something that a mouse that potentially has rabies has pawed around in, or if it even pawed around in their food to begin with, but she isn’t taking any chances.

    Bea is thinking “Must be nice to have so much time to waste”. That being said, ha, I’ll vouch for their methods! Especially Mona’s. Nice hair always begins with a good shampoo and conditioner. You will notice that no one has complimented Esteban’s hair. This is partially why. That, and his hair is awful.

    I once thought about giving Bea cornrows… but I realized that I love natural afros too much. (Plus I have at least one friend that I think would murder me if I ever touched Bea’s hair.)

    I realize this isn’t all of my characters, but these are the ones who specifically are pet owners and thus of course really like most animals! Also in the boat of “liking most animals” is Addy and Esteban. (Surprising, I know.) Desma likes them if they’re well-trained or really really pretty to look at (and will secretly make exceptions for bad training if the pet is super-friendly, as well). Ashley and Ace can both kind of take ‘em or leave ‘em - that’s not to say that they HATE animals, but they just aren’t in their realm of interests. You won’t catch either at the zoo or in a pet store.
