If you came for the artwork, it's all here, and if you came for my webcomic, it's over here!
I mentioned on my vent blog, a while ago, how last week was just… it was… ugh. Well, it was a bad week, basically, at the tail end of some really busy months, and I wound up writing down a lot of the emotions I could recall feeling the most strongly. LONG STORY SHORT I had sketched characters for each feeling I wrote, and I decided to just work on ‘em ‘til I got sick of them. And… here we are!
Mannnn, these things took forever! Well, specifically, the flats took forever because it’s that tedious time where you are still figuring out their swatches. And they aren’t finalized in design OR colors ‘cause I still gotta run them by the co-creators (1 and 2), BUT. Hey. I haven’t posted art in a while, so why not!
Aaaaand also have some warm-ups from earlier in the week. Eleanor, on the very end in the aqua-blue, is Sam’s lady-character! The rest of ‘em are totally my fault.
I went ahead and finished all those headshots from the other day, and thought I’d show the ones that feature characters that you will be seeing with more regularity!
What exactly do you mean, Plans That I Made, when you say “you still have to cell shade them”? What do you mean by that? Do you mean “go relax for a while, maybe enjoy a snack”? That’s what I thought you meant. I’m glad we’re on the same page.
I am queuing this for maximum stealth since I haven’t been able to run the final colors by some people yet, but… we are working out where all the body markings go on the Vanished people and making sure their silhouettes work in ensemble. Left to right it goes… Harlowe, Ide, Eleanor, Penn, Logan, Campbell. I am borrowing Eleanor, Logan, and Campbell from chainSMA and kayzig, respectively!
Still getting to know Harlowe, a bit! I now have to waffle on whether or not I want to enter this in a contest-thing I’ve been eye-balling.
EMERGENCY COMMISSIONS!
All right, those of you following me for a bit know that this is not usual for me, but my boyfriend and I have hit a bit of an obstacle and we need some money - quickly. So I’m opening up for some posed bust commissions. Here is some basic information to be followed by the fine print!
Now FINE PRINT that is not truthfully any smaller than the rest of this text, at all. “Posed as requested” can also mean if you are sending me an original character or something of the like, you can just give me a brief description of their personality and I’ll pose ‘em for you. The “per character” bit means you CAN give me multiple characters and I will pose them all together under the same guidelines, it will just be priced accordingly. Currently I only accept PayPal for payment. Sorry for any inconvenience! I also take the full payment up front before I begin any work. And as for REAL small print, I do reserve the right to refuse any content, yadda yadda.
If you are interested, please send me an e-mail at aka.sephiramy@gmail.com! We can talk details over there and I’ll let you know what I need for us to get started.
Since these are for an emergency, they are going to have a really quick turn-around time. I am suspending all personal work (comics, doodles, sketch cards, everything) until these are done - that means I will still be working on other commissions from private clients, but these are top priority and I should be clearing the entire queue within a week. Reblogs are always-always-always appreciated. I am opening a lot of slots for this (at least 10, but maybe more) so they may not fill up very quickly, and I would love to reach as many eager eyes as possible. Thank you in advance to anyone who passes this around or takes interest!
Welp, now all that’s left is to add the cell shades and highlights, touch ‘em up, then mull forever over whether or not they are worth what I want to charge.
I love when I need new commission examples, because it is a shameless excuse to draw whoever-the-heck-I-feel-like.
