mariealbertine:

When your friends are sad give them a hug and tell them you love them, or, if like me you you emote like a 1950s dad, make them a crude drawing on your lunch break.

aww gabi :”)

This is my favorite kind of affection. ;u;

Guess who is working on the MANCALENDAR? What’s the MANCALENDAR, you ask? I am going to allow this answering-of-a-question-with-another-question because I’m really excited about it! Countershot Press under the leading force of Doomsday, My Dear's Cami is going to be launching a 2015 calendar featuring some webcomic men! You may have already seen a bit of chitter-chatter about it. The official list of contributors hasn't dropped yet, but I'd definitely keep an eye out for it, because I know all of 'em and I want this calendar, already!!

IIIIIII was gonna wait ‘til tomorrow to post this… but Gabi did a cool thing, and then Cami did a cool thing, and then… things just… spiraled out of control…
But it’s not my fault that mariealbertine, cafiffle, mortalityplays, and amphiaria have cool characters, and I didn’t start the AU! I didn’t! It’s not my fault. (Not this time.)

I did some palette requests based off this art meme, and thought I’d throw ‘em up before I slog to work! Thanks everyone for your suggestions, if I have time I’ll try to do the ones I wasn’t able to get to - no promises, but best intent, at least.

A Harlowe in #15 for jim-moroniarty, a Mona in #4 for spacekayce, an Esteban in #10 for closetextrovert, and a Bea in #14 for stonelions!

themusementor:

It’s true - TMM is now in its terrible 2’s! (Only I hope its 2’s will actually be better than its 1’s… certainly better than its 0’s!)
I just wanted to take this quick opportunity to sincerely thank all of the readers and supporters. There have been days where I don’t know if I could have made it as steadily as I have without the knowledge that there were people out there reading and enjoying this comic, which I know might sound kind of stupid, and I certainly don’t create with that sole intention in mind, but it really did get me out of some bad places. Thank you so much for letting me share this with you, and here’s to 2 years of having the BEST readers ever!
Oh, and of course, if you haven’t yet read The Muse Mentor… maybe you’d like to?

I cannot believe it’s been 2 years. Time flies when you are being productive!
Anyway, I second all the things I said above. Thanks to everyone who has followed along, sent messages of support, recommended, reblogged, commented, liked, or looked!

oc-cupid:

OC CUPID: MATCH FOUND!

Esteban Christopoulos is a grump. Besides that, he is a muse — he inspires writers to knuckle down and get it done. This is explained much better in The Muse Mentor webcomic where he appears. But mainly he is a grump, who belongs to Amy King (sephiramy).

Sheila Morrison is a quiet soul. You probably kind of have to be, when you have the potential to accidentally electrocute the people around you. Appropriately enough she is part of a novel-in-progress by SmirkVerily. (smirkverily).

Esteban: What came first; existence preceding essence or the existential crisis?

Sheila: Well…I assume the existential crisis came long before anyone tried to describe it as such; people have probably been having that sort of problem throughout all of history, even if they didn’t have a name for it. So even if it wasn’t called an “existential crisis” from the start, of course it came before “existentialism” was officially thought up and given an anthem.

Sheila: What was your favorite fairytale/folklore story when you were a kid, and why?

Esteban: I have never been very fond of fairy tales nor most folklore, to be truthful, not even when I was younger. If it at all consoles you, I am very interested in the history of traditional storytelling and the passing down of the stories, themselves.

Let’s hope the pair enjoy their date, generously funded by OC Cupid…to Esteban’s choice of destination!

I have to reblog this one too, because it’s adorable. Look at these kids having an actual conversation, one table over from the panther and the dinosaur talking about assault rifles.

You cannot believe my astonishment that anyone took that question seriously. (Esteban is surprised, too, he was actually trying to make a joke. No one understands me, he languishes. Boo hoo.)

Additionally oh no you’re letting HIM pick?! WHY? Uh, I mean…

I thank smirkverily in advance for being a good sport. Sheila handled his question like a true diplomat! (And so did the rest of the contestants, all things considered!)

mortalityplays:

I’m collating all the results from the OCC matchmaking questionnaire, and so far the main thing I’ve learned is that Esteban is going to be single until the day he dies.

I am taking this as a compliment.

Don’t ruin this for Bea and Addy, Esteban. You won’t live to regret it.

Are we posting these, now? Are we letting people know the terrible possibilities of the OC Cupid match-up system?
Ugh. Who would have done such a thing.
