Mannnnnn his incision is GNARLY! But he is really happy to have someone sittin’ with him on his gigantic bed petting him, I think, so he keeps snuffling around, haha. I may get a video and post it later so you guys can see him being a sweetie.

I am so happy he is slowly getting better. No more gasping for air or huffing! Just the occasional cough, which the surgeon said would be normal.

I think I would want to steer it towards “accomplished gift artist”. Bonus points if I get to draw them with stuff out of my IPs. “Accomplished cross-over gift artist”??

Runner-up titles could be, you know, “that girl who wouldn’t stop drawing crap for people” or “just another oddball internet artist”.

My housemate is currently trying to make a cheesecake for my birthday … the last time he tried this he didn’t even add sugar into it … also he added twice the amount of cream cheese … and the base was basically just butter. I’m not even gonna talk about what happened with the gelatin.

The worst part is that he knows he is shit at making things, but he’s gonna make me eat it anyway! He’s been laughing about it all day.

(I really HADN’T thought I was getting any better at anything and was honestly starting to feel super discouraged, until I re-read my own darn comic, this evening. I’m actually getting somewhere! I AM LEARNING.)

Because dang, girl/son/your preference, I have a LOT of art to do, haha.

I am going to try and work steadily on the request sketches, rather than what I did with the emergency commissions earlier this year where I tackled them in a head-on slam and burnt myself out. So this means I am NOT putting The Muse Mentor on hold, and I am NOT putting my personal art on hold, either. I will need it to keep me calm, level, and paced.

The page is gonna update as usual, tonight, and I have some promised artwork to get to (wink wink, you know who you are! …probably! pretty sure) and then I will work on the requests in the blank spots between.

He is recuperating peacefully and will be home, tomorrow. No complications!

I feel very exhausted right now, but a lot of thank yous are in order. If you reblogged or donated, thank you. Really! We didn’t make our goal, but it’s a dang good start, and the loan we received means we can try and find a way to just work more hours or something in the coming months.

I’m going to sort out all the sketches and will be working on those sporadically when I can, and e-mail donators over the next few days to let them know what’s up.

Hey everyone. I’ve been super busy working, and now I’ve hit another snag.

This is my kitty. He needs some major surgery to correct urinary issues he has been having. If he doesn’t get them fixed, he will either be put down, or will die from associated complications.

For several reasons, I cannot go into debt to do this. I do not get paid enough at my job (full time) to pay for the kind of payments associated with a loan.
